Koved Care provides Home Care and Care Manager services for elders, and for those who require assistance to remain living in their own homes. We also provide private-duty Personal Care Attendants for clients living in retirement communities, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facilities.

We serve the San Francisco Bay Area, and the entire New York City Tri-State Region.

Home Care Services:

Koved Care provides reliable, uncomplicated home care services at competitive rates. We handle all of the paperwork, pay all related taxes, and pay for all required insurance coverage.

All of our caregivers are experienced and most are certified CNA’s and HHA’s. We develop a detailed care plan in consultation with you, your family and your doctor.  In California, our home care services include all customary assistance with “activities of daily living” (“ADL’s"), including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, and help with range of motion exercises. We can also transport and/or accompany you for errands, recreational, educational or social activities, and medical appointments. Finally, we provide medication reminders, and shift by shift documentation to your doctor or fiduciary, as requested.

Services are available on a part-time, full-time or live-in basis. For part-time services we have a 3-hour minimum per visit. For full-time home care / home maker clients, we will include up to two hours of care management services or assessment and care planning.

Care Management Services:

Koved’s multi-disciplinary team of care managers provide comprehensive, advocacy-driven oversight of all aspects of your care. This includes a comprehensive nursing and psycho-social assessment to determine the best residential option and the best mix of services for you. In New York and Connecticut, nursing assessments are obtained from licensed providers.  Koved’s care managers hire and manage your care givers / home makers, arrange and oversee the delivery of all skilled / licensed services and medical equipment, research and arrange recreational/social opportunities, provide crisis prevention and management, and provide support for long-distance family members. How we work with you:

Upon initiating contact with you, we will schedule a complimentary consultation. Based on your preferences, input from your medical team and our observations, we will recommend the mix of services that we believe will be required to initiate services and make your quality of life the best it can be. For full-time cases, Koved Care will provide up to two hours of complimentary care management (a $250 value) for assessment and care planning. Once we are retained, we will create a care plan, and assign care givers from our employee pool who we believe are the best match for your requirements, personality, or lifestyle.

The Koved Care Difference

Koved Care has a multi-disciplinary care management team that includes both RN's and licensed mental health professionals.  Koved Care is also uniquely qualified to manage Geri-Psych cases due to the presence of specialized psychiatric care managers on our team.

RN care managers have medical training and experience that enables them to identify and rapidly seek treatment for subtle changes in medical status or drug interactions that could otherwise escalate into crisis situations.  By responding early, we are often able to obtain office-based treatment, avoiding the disruption and exposure of emergency room visits and hospital stays.  Our licensed mental health professionals provide expertise in identifying and addressing clients' psycho-social needs, and in assisting them to access social-service and community resources.  Multiple studies show that clients with professional care managers experience fewer hospitalizations and emergency room visits.

Koved’s geriatric care managers are all qualified professionals with multiple years of experience in the field, and proven track records managing elder care cases.  Typically, the lead care manager on a geriatric case will be a RN.

All of our personal care attendants (care givers) are our employees. They undergo extensive criminal background, reference and health screening. They are bonded and insured, and are subject to random drug testing.

We believe that it is extremely important to match care givers who fit the needs personality and style of living of each individual client. We avoid changes in staffing and schedules unless requested by the client.
