Home Care and Home Maker Services

Koved Care provides specialized home care services for Psychiatric, Addiction Recovery, Geriatric, Hospice and Palliative Care clients who require assistance in order to continue living at home.  We also provide specialized companion care services private duty services to clients living in institutional settings.

Care Management

Kove Care provides specialized Care Management Services for Psychiatric, Addiction Recovery, Geriatric, Oncology, Hospice, Palliative Care and Post-Surgical clients. 

How we work with you:

Upon initiating contact with you, we will schedule a complimentary consultation. Based on your preferences, input from your medical team, and our observations, we will recommend the mix of services that we believe will be required to initiate services and make your quality of life the best it can be. For full-time home care / home maker cases, Koved will provide up to two hours of complimentary care management for assessment and care planning. Once we are retained, we will create a care plan, and then assign care givers from our employee pool who we believe are the best match for your requirements, personality, lifestyle, etc.

The Care Manager’s Role:

Our care managers provide comprehensive, advocacy-driven oversight of all aspects of care for clients, including placement services, arranging and managing delivery of all in-home private duty and skilled services, crisis intervention, and support for long-distance care givers.

Koved Care has a multi-disciplinary care management team that includes both RN's and licensed mental health professionals. Specialized care managers work with psychiatric clients.

RN care managers have medical training and experience that enables them to identify and rapidly seek treatment for subtle changes in medical status or drug interactions that could otherwise escalate into crisis situations.  By responding early, we are often able to obtain office-based treatment, avoiding the disruption and exposure of emergency room visits and hospital stays.

Our licensed mental health professionals provide expertise in identifying and addressing clients' psycho-social needs, and in assisting them to access social-service and community resources.  Multiple studies show that clients with professional care managers experience fewer hospitalizations and emergency room visits.

Specialized, Qualified Care Managers. Our care managers have relevant experience and proven track-records working with clients within their respective areas of specialization. For example, elder care clients work with a geriatric specialist and psychiatric clients work with an experienced psychiatric care manager.

Specialized, Experience Psychiatric In-Home Staff.  The staff members that we assign to work with psychiatric and/or addiction recovery clients have extensive training and experience relevant to the specific diagnosis and needs of each client.  Staff are matched to be age, gender, and socially appropriate for each individual client.

Uncomplicated, High-Quality Services at Competitive Rates:

• All of our caregivers are employees of Koved Care who are fully insured and bonded. They undergo full criminal, reference, medical, and DMV background checks. We pay all the taxes and do all the paperwork.
  
  
• Our experienced caregivers provide all customary assistance with daily activities including personal hygiene, dressing, ambulation, cooking, feeding, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, etc.
  Our psychiatric and addiction recovery caregivers have training, experience and certification (as required) working with these populations.
  
• We work hard to assign caregivers who match well with each client’s requirements, personality, style of living, etc. Consistency and longevity of staffing are a high priority at Koved Care.
  
• We conduct regularly scheduled training and performance reviews. These are very frequent during the first year of employment / service.
